Thank you Jim for the invite to this fine place. I am looking for the original poem (words) to the tune The Irish Raid of Cooley. Here is what the tune sounds like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSjmvU_8xLY
and I want to post my own recorded session with song at my blog as for in the background http://bit.ly/x0gMh and http://www.celtic-women.net/groups/profile/7 All Fiddle World is invited to join. Please let me know if you or anyone here runs across the words which the merry maids would sing while milking the Sacred Bo (Cow). Thank You.

One of my favs is:

http://www.clarefm.ie/downloads.php?type=trad

You can subscribe to their podcasts and get about 8 hours of trad every week. In St Louis, we have our own Irish Radio show that archives shows for two weeks.

http://www.kdhx.org/index.php?option=com_kdhxradio&task=playlist&dothis=latest&show=Ireland+in+America&Itemid=268

It's a great community radio station.

Here's your tune finder. Plug in the name an usually you get many versions in abc, pdf, and midi.

Tunes from the fiddlers companion are here in abc.
http://www.ibiblio.org/fiddlers/FCfiles.html

ABC files can be converted to sheet music and pdf here:
http://www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html
Be sure the first line of the tune before the title starts with X:1 or some other number.

My own site has 203 original tunes for download also as abc, pdf, midi, and a few mp3s.
