French Fiddle circa 1850's
French copy, circa 1850's, of a Gaspard Duiffoprugger, a 17th century Italian maker of the Bresican school. Body is slightly larger then standard with double purffling.Similar to a Maggini. Very nice, old wood produces a warm, rich voice.
