To answer your question about Dollywood, it can be fun playing there for a while. The HUGE down side to it is that they do not pay you much for doing it. They pay less than the thater shows in Pigeon Forge pay, and Dollywood keeps you tied up all day for that smaller paycheck. I am married with two children and live a simple lifestyle, but had to work three jobs (while working at Dollywood) just to scrape by. However, on a positive note, it's a really good place to visit :)

I have played in churches all over the country (tons of them in Chattanooga, BTW), I played at The Smoky Mountain Jubilee in Pigeon Forge, Tn for 20 years, and played at Dollywood for several years too.
