Well that is good to hear. I was told at the Minnesota Championships, that he had passed. I met him there a few years back when he was serving as a judge for the state championships. What a very nice man ! I have taken a fancy to Canadian fiddling. Last year I won my first fiddle contest (a county fair) all three tunes I played were Canadian. Maple Sugar, Old Red River Waltz and Flannigan's Polka.
